Event Details: A hands on umeshu learn & brew and serious tasting event, contains a lot of knowledge and tasting session of minimum 8 different umeshu. In total you will consume 200ml or approx 3 standard drinks and take home approx 300ml of umeshu (6.5 standard drinks).
Date & Time: Saturday 14th September 2024 12:00PM
12PM Umeshu Brewing. Hands on brewing of Umeshu using local organic Ume. Your ticket includes ingredients for a standard 200ml of brandy based Umeshu to take home.
12:30PM Tasting Session. (PLAN and subject to change depending on availability)
1 Choya Golden Fruit Single Year - Premium Balanced, 42% ume used.
2 Satsuma Shochuya Kokuto - Local ume, sweet potato shochu, molasses, honey.
3 Choya Ujicha - Green Tea. 5.5% ume used.
4 Ippongi Hannyatou - Chilli infused. Sake base
5 Oshukubai Akai Umeshu - Red Umeshu w casis and rosehip
6 URAKASUMI Umeshu - Umeshu made with sake
7 Kiuchi Shuzo Umeshu - Umeshu w White Ale hops
8 Taro's Brandy Umeshu 2021 vintage
9 Taro's Vodka Umeshu 2021 vintage
